2Toms Brewing Company expanded into a neighboring suite at Wells Commerce Center to create the beautiful Barrel Room event space and outdoor seating area.
The already established 2Toms Brewing Company quickly grew as a favorite local watering hole. Between the unique flavor profiles of their craft beer and partnering with local food trucks and vendors, 2Toms Brewery's popularity demanded an expansion to accommodate more people, both inside and out.
When a neighboring suite became available in the Wells Commerce Center, 2Toms was quick to lease it through Sturges Property Group with the intent of adding an event space and outdoor patio.
TI Source provided overall project management through the duration of the project including pre-construction bidding and estimating, and budget, schedule, and contract control. We removed existing walls, created new entryways into the Barrel Room, ran new plumbing and electrical, and installed new flooring, paint, and acoustical ceilings.
The newly constructed Barrel Room opened in April 2021. Located right next door to the main taproom, The Barrel Room has a maximum capacity of 50 people and can offer a fully seated or an open and casual atmosphere for private events. Warm and mellow with rich wood accents from aging barrels, barrel staves, and a hand-painted mural, The Barrel Room has a unique and inviting atmosphere.
An outdoor addition was also planned and TI Source was able to build a 28' x 24' open-air pergola where patrons could sip libations outside or grab a bite from a visiting food truck.
Project Info
The 2Toms Brewery expansion included supervision of demolition and CAD services, and new MEP, flooring, paint, and fixtures. An outdoor pergola was added to expand the brewery's footprint.
